The tool style may vary dependent on model bought.

The floor brush can be used as a brush to scrub floors or walls and also as a steam mop. When using as a scrub brush you need full steam pressure on absorbent surfaces such as carpets and to reduce the pressure on hard floors to prevent the steam from billowing out unnecessarily. Remember, turning the steam volume down does not effect the steam temperature and temperature is king for cleaning, pressure helps when removing stains or accessing difficult areas. For instruction on using the steam vacuum system on carpets click here.

Steam Mop

On top of the floor brush are two clips. These are used to secure a cloth around the brush to turn the brush into a "steam mop". This is very useful on all surfaces especially hard floors and carpets! The use of the steam mop on carpets removes the grease from the pile leaving the carpet clean, fresh and rejuvenated. When using as a steam mop you only need sufficient steam pressure to moisten the mop, again heat is the key to using the mop system.

Place large brush in middle of cloth Wrap the cloth envelope style Fix in place using clips on head
Steam mop the carpet or floor area The soiling will transfer to cloth Spot the difference on just 2m2
Once you have finished your carpeted floor area you will need to vacuum away the lose bits left behind once the grease and oil holding these particulates has been removed.
Use the smaller brush to get into the edges Obviously if you have purchased a steam vacuum system this process is not necessary as you would steam & vacuum at the same time. Click here to view.
